At WithArmour, Numa combines his creative expertise with field experience to design blades that are not only visually striking but also built for performance. Each knife he creates reflects a combat-oriented blend of functionality, durability and tactical purpose, shaped by passion and real-world experience.

Artur Saulin


Artur Saulin is a knife designer and YouTuber from Estonia, with a background in law and years of  experience in both state law enforcement and private  security. His passion for weapons and knives began in  childhood, growing up with military—style  games  popular  in the former Soviet Union. Over  time,  this  interest evolved into a serious pursuit.

In 2019, Artur began designing knives, focusing on  powerful fixed blades built for heavy-duty  outdoor  use. After refining his concepts, he  introduced  his first folding knife design — prioritizing  ambidextrous  use and structural symmetry.

In 2025, Artur officially joined the WithArmour design team. His debut folder with the brand features a robust cross-bar  lock and a bold,  functional  aesthetic  that  reflects his vision of what a real working knife  should be.

Artur is committed to creating knives that combine performance, strength, and a personal design signature.

Christophe Verstappen

Born as Christophe Verstappen in Belgium, now living in France and known by the nickname Tofke, he signs his designs with Knifetofke. He designs knives simply because he loves them and believes there should be a different model for every knife enthusiast. In the past, he used many kinds of knives as tools for work — from cooking to serving his country, to daily tasks and even for eating.

With a creative mind, he once started making knives himself, but due to a busy life and being away from home, he stopped and sold his tools and machines. A few years later, with more time available, he returned to his passion through designing, as restarting knife making requires a large investment. Many customers already know his earlier designs under his logo ST4SP, which stands for Special Things for Special People. Most of his designs are created for outdoor enthusiasts, food lovers, and duty men and women. His motto is: “Without a knife, a human cannot survive. Knives are tools with an edge.”

Lia Hofmeister

For Lia Hofmeister, every blade begins with a story.
Growing up as the daughter of Dirk Hofmeister, founder of Midgards-Messer, she was surrounded early on by knife craftsmanship and design culture. Yet her creative path was shaped just as strongly by art, illustration, and literature.
Influenced by gothic aesthetics and classic literary works such as Edgar Allan Poe’s writings, Dracula, and Carmilla, Lia brings a strong narrative sensibility to her designs. Her first knife, Lenore, marked the beginning of her journey into blade design.
Unlike traditional knife makers who focus primarily on technical performance, Lia approaches each project as a storytelling process. Mood, symbolism, and visual identity are developed first, before being translated into steel through form, material, and detail.
For Lia, a knife is not only a tool, but a designed object that carries emotion, atmosphere, and meaning.
Through her design at WITHARMOUR, she combines modern blade design with artistic influence, creating pieces that transform stories into functional steel.
