WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS

Thank you for choosing an original WithArmour knife.

We stand by the superior quality of our products and are pleased to offer a lifetime warranty on the knife. The sheath is covered by a two-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Should the product’s functionality be compromised due to manufacturing defects or material issues, we are committed to providing full or partial repair or replacement at no charge. Damage caused by misuse, natural wear, or oxidation is not covered by the warranty, as these can be prevented through regular maintenance.

Any unauthorized modifications, customizations, or alterations to WithArmour products will be considered a violation of the warranty terms. This includes unauthorized repairs or sharpening that do not adhere to the knife’s original specifications, angles, or geometry, which will void the warranty.

We strongly recommend visiting our website, www.witharmour.com , to learn the proper methods for knife maintenance. If the issue is not related to manufacturing or material defects, we will do our best to provide repair advice and offer a quote.

For warranty-covered returns, the shipping cost will be covered by us.

Please note that the warranty does not apply to knives purchased from e-commerce platforms where the source, seller reliability, or product authenticity cannot be verified. Given the prevalence of counterfeit products, we advise purchasing only through authorized dealers or www.witharmour.com.

For non-genuine products that do not qualify for the warranty, WithArmour reserves the right to confiscate the item and report it to the relevant authorities.

Knife Maintenance

Fixed Blade

Our fixed blade knives are constructed using high-durability plastic and metal materials. Handles, sheaths, and attached belts are made from high-quality polymers with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. Metal components such as screws and rivets are made from metals highly resistant to oxidation. While the surface coating on the blade extends its lifespan, it will gradually wear down with use, so extra care is required. The handle is designed for easy disassembly, facilitating maintenance and care.

Folding Knife

For our folding knives, all plastic and metal components (excluding the blade, locking mechanism, and the back of the knife) are made from oxidation-resistant materials. Special attention should be given to the blade, especially models with surface coatings, as these coatings wear off with use and expose the blade. We recommend cleaning and lubricating with a cotton cloth and brush without disassembling the knife, as frequent disassembly can affect the assembly quality.

Basic Maintenance Tips

  • Keep Dry and Lubricated: Regularly lubricate the knife using specialized synthetic lubricants or weapon lubricants.
  • Saltwater Handling: If the knife comes into contact with saltwater, clean it with fresh water, dry it thoroughly, and apply lubricant. Saltwater is a common cause of corrosion in stainless steel knives.
  • Freshwater and Dirt: If the knife has been stored for a long time or exposed to water-soluble materials, clean it with fresh water, dry it, and lubricate it.
  • Oily Dirt: If the knife is soiled with oily substances, clean it with a regular household detergent, dry it, and lubricate it. Ensure that the inside of the sheath remains clean to avoid dirt causing scratches on the blade during insertion and removal.

Special Maintenance

  • Part Replacement: If a part of the knife is worn or damaged, it can be replaced individually without needing to replace the entire knife. Severely worn blades can be restored by the manufacturer or a qualified professional sharpener. Replaceable parts, such as belts, can be removed and replaced.
  • Repair: Replacement of damaged parts can be carried out by any gunsmith or professional with the appropriate tools.

Sharpening Tools

  • Tool Selection: You can use smooth stones or diamond plates for sharpening.
  • Recommended Use: Use high-quality sharpening tools and select the appropriate grit: coarse grit for removing scratches and damage from the blade, and fine grit for restoring cutting ability.
  • Sharpening Method: Glide the blade across the sharpening tool at the proper angle, ensuring the blade’s flat surface contacts the sharpener rather than the blade edge.
