Carmilla - Knife Designed by Lia Hofmeister
Inspired by Carmilla, the groundbreaking Gothic vampire novella written by Sheridan Le Fanu and first published in 1872, this collector's knife pays tribute to one of the most influential figures in vampire literature.

Crafted from genuine Damascus steel, the blade features intricate deep laser engravings inspired by Victorian lacework and Gothic ornamentation. Decorative gemstones are set directly into the Damascus blade and into the removable ring at the end of the handle, adding a luxurious touch that reflects the elegance and sophistication associated with Carmilla herself. Combined with the hand-engraved handle scales, these details create a collector's piece that feels as refined as the character that inspired it.

The blade is single-edged, combining practical everyday legality with the elegant profile of a traditional Gothic dagger.

A removable ring forms the end of the handle and can be unscrewed and worn separately as jewelry, creating a symbolic connection between blade and wearer.

Each Carmilla knife is accompanied by a custom display stand. Designed to pair seamlessly with the Dracula stand, the two pieces form a complete moon motif when displayed together—a tribute to the eternal night shared by literature's most iconic vampires.

The knife is presented in a custom collector's box designed to resemble an antique book. The packaging features exclusive illustrations created by the designer herself, transforming the presentation into an extension of the story and making the piece feel like a relic taken directly from the pages of Gothic literature.
