CHERUB
Inspired by Heritage. Refined for Modern Exploration.
Every design begins with a question. For Cherub, the question was simple: how can a traditional blade that has served generations of Southeast Asian communities be respected, reimagined, and brought into the modern world?
Across Southeast Asia, the parang has always been more than a tool. For generations, it has helped communities clear land, build shelters, and adapt to challenging environments. Its blade geometry, weight distribution, and handling were refined through countless hours of real-world use, creating a design philosophy built around one principle: let the blade do the work.
Through years of outdoor exploration across Southeast Asia, the versatility of the parang became undeniable. From clearing trails and preparing campsites to handling everyday outdoor tasks, its balance and efficiency have made it a trusted companion shaped by the landscape it comes from.
Cherub was created to carry that spirit forward—not simply by recreating tradition, but by refining it for today. The design preserves the essential characteristics of the parang, including its long blade, extended handle, and forward-focused balance, while introducing modern materials, improved ergonomics, and a refined blade profile for a more adaptable outdoor experience.
Rooted in Southeast Asian heritage and shaped by modern craftsmanship, Cherub represents the connection between tradition and innovation. A blade built from history, designed for exploration, and made for the journey ahead.
